It all started when…

Ton, AMFT, completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, and a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling at Sacramento State University. Her service in the military led her to venture to various parts of the United States for many years until she came back home to California. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and staying physically active.

Therapeutic Style: She approaches clients with genuineness, curiosity, and empathy. Her approach is collaborative with clients, and she believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship between Client and Clinician. Her framework is multimodal in attachment, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral and multicultural therapies.

Areas of Focus: Her background is in the adolescent and adult client population who are challenged with stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship matters.
