OLIVER SLATE GREENE, AMFT

My name is Oliver…

I believe the decision to enter into therapeutic relationship is a profound act of love. I earned my master’s degree at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California; and am an American Psychological Association Division 39 (psychoanalytic) scholar.

When we allow ourselves the grace to "not know", to embrace the meandering nature of the psyche and the rhythm of life itself, the places that need healing can actually begin to heal.

I work relationally, understanding that healing happens within the container of our therapeutic bond. While rooted in psychodynamic understanding, I draw from narrative, somatic, and existential approaches - meeting you where meaning-making, embodied awareness, and the deeper questions of existence intersect. I'll meet you where you're at and attune to the therapeutic approach that will serve you best, honoring your unique way of being and knowing.

The therapeutic process honors both the unconscious currents that shape us and the lived experience of being human in relationship - to ourselves, others, and the larger mystery of existence. I create space for the whole of your experience: the parts that know and the parts that don't yet know, the wounds that speak and the wisdom that emerges through presence.

Through this inner work, insight is revealed, psychological suffering is eased, and consciousness expands.

I invite you to take this journey with me.
